These photos from two recent shoots for NPower illustrate a common challenge to photographers - to create interesting and distinctive photos in a 'normal' office environment, with minimal disruption. In both cases studio flash equipment was used to give highly controlled lighting, although with rather rather different results!

The brief for these photos was to produce portraits of a senior teacher and shots of her interacting with colleages. Choice of background, camera angle and positioning of the people in the photo were all important to giving the feeling of spontaneity and invovement with the group shot. In both photos, studio flash was used, to give a bright, positive mood to the photos.
