Worcestershire Event Photographs for Havaianas at Big Chill 2009, Malvern

Edward Shaw photographers Malvern Big Chill event photographs

These photos were shot for footwear brand Havainas at their chill out area and stage at The Big Chill Festival. The brief was to capture a range of people, branding and mood shots to show the activities and atmosphere of the event.

Worcester Business Portraits, NPower, Worcester

Edward Shaw photographers Worcester npower portrait photographs

These photos from two recent shoots for NPower illustrate a common challenge to photographers - to create creative and striking photos in a 'normal' office environment, quickly and with minimal disruption. In both cases studio flash equipment was used to give highly controlled lighting, to give shots which met the client's requirements for style and mood.

Worcester Portraits for General Teaching Council, Elgar College, Worcester

Edward Shaw photographers Worcester photographs

The brief for these photos was to produce portraits of a senior teacher and shots of her interacting with colleages. Choice of background, camera angle and positioning of the people in the photo were all important to giving the feeling of spontaneity and involvement with the group shot. In both photos, studio flash was used, to give a bright, positive mood to the photos, and a low camera angle was selected to give a feeling of involvement with the subjects.
