"Ever since I first bought a camera over 15 years ago, I have had a passion for photography. I made my first commercial sale of images soon after buying this camera, it took me another 8 years to become a professional photographer.
Whilst living in New Zealand in 1998 I applied to study on one of New Zealand's most competitive full-time professional photography courses. I was accepted, and worked extremely hard for two years on all aspects of photography, including fashion, portraiture and documentary work.
I photographed my first wedding in 2000 and have been the photographer for many more weddings since. I enjoy the variety of wedding photography and the responsibility of helping to contribute to 'the happiest day'. I take pride in both traditional, formal photography and the spontaneity of reportage photographs, and feel that for most couples, a combination of both styles is appropriate. Based on the boundary of Kings Heath and Moseley in South Birmingham, I am well situated to cover weddings in Birmingham, Warwickshire, Worcestershire and the West Midlands region.
